Please join for the first spring 2025 Architecturally Speaking lecture: Wednesday, February 19th at 6:15pm, JP’s in the K-State Student Union. Visiting Assistant Professor of Architecture Nitzan Farfel will present “Materials to [Re]sources,” which will examine how architecture can expose and reimagine hidden systems of labor, ecology, and resource networks through methodologies that integrate cartography, speculative storytelling, and critical design. One AIA LU will be available.
Prior to joining K-State, Farfel has worked with Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects in Paris, Workshop-S in Athens, and OMA AMO NY in New York, where she contributed to projects exploring architecture’s cultural, environmental, and infrastructural transformations. Complimentary pizza will be provided by sponsors AIA Kansas, AIAS, and AIA Flint Hills.
