Reaching Out to Students and Emerging Professionals - Session 1

AIA Alabama and AIA Kentucky are engaged in multi-year efforts to build a community of advocates among students and emerging professionals. By partnering with state and local institutions where future architects are being educated, each has successfully introduced emerging leaders to advocacy, shaped how these individuals understand the policy issues that will impact their practice, and invited them in to AIA's legislative efforts. Participants will learn more about these exciting programs and explore launching a similar effort through their own AIA component.
